New to plants
Just noticed these brown spots have appeared on my albo monstera. Any help to why they have developed would be much appreciated.

OG.99Could be a couple reasons 1.) too much sun (sunburnt) 2.) primary culprit of overwatering (root rot) 3.)low humidity 3.) or pest/diseases

If you watered it recently i would let it completely dry out and stay by the window & if you’re getting bright -Indirect- sunlight If you haven’t recently watered it i would say its From too much sunlight/got sunburned! And to move to a lower light around but is still getting enough light to grow !

Once soil is dry i would check out the roots to make sure your root are doing alright! Cut the any rotting root off and Let your Roots dry out before watering again!

That definitely looks like overwatering to me, my monstera did the same thing
