Hi!!! I am new to this plant and I was over watering it. I repot it to get rid of the bad soil. However the bottom of the plant is looking dark and yellow. What can I do about that?! This plant was growing so well!

I’m also new to this plant😣 and i have the same problem, someone told me it was probably because the room doesn’t have enough humidity to keep that part of the plant green and not to worry about And your plant honestly looks really healthy so you shouldn’t worry about it🤗(it could also be recovering from the overwatering). Someone please correct me if i’m wrong lol that’s just what I was told.

It’s had some trauma with the overwatering and repotting. Hopefully it just needs some time to recover. 😊 But did it smell bad or have mushy roots when you repotted? 🤔

No it did not smell bad nor have mushy roots!!!! So I’ll just give it some time and some love!

Good. As long as it’s just the oldest leaf or two that is yellowing & retiring, it should be ok. 😊

Another question - more leaves are turning yellow since repotting. Is that trauma as well? Will it get worse before it gets better?!

Maybe. 🤔 How many? Is it yellow spots or the whole leaf turning yellow?

It could be transfer shock, I would keep an eye on it to see if it recovers and if not then definitely look into other reasons
