It is a monster, but I feel it needs a different pot, one that drains. It was a gift. Any suggestions and on watering this giant.

    Yes, I would definitely get it out of there, check the roots, and put it in a pot that drains. She’s a beauty! My monstera is just a baby but I water when it’s half way to three quarters dry and it seems pretty happy.

    Definitely needs drainage! But monsteras like to be root bound, so when you’re picking a pot for this big guy, don’t size up too much! Going up too much too fast in pot size could send him into shock
