hi all! i rescued this guy who was in sort of bad shape from a costco near me. he’s been repotted and provided with the correct soil type but some of his leaves are still yellowing. humidity in my apartment is usually low but there’s a small humidifier directly next to his pillar on the ground. is there something i should be doing differently? never been a monstera person (mostly hoya, tradescantia and pothos variations). any help appreciated ❤️

You might give it more sun light. It looks like it’s leaning for more light. Also, it could be getting rid of old leaves to make new. Next water you may want to fertilize.

monstera are heavy feeders so if you haven’t fertilized it would be a good idea to before the plant goes dormant for winter (depending where you live). i also agree with tellie it could be just getting rid of old leaves, i’ve found m. adansonii will drop any old or damaged leaves that are no longer serving the plant. they are very easy to care for so you should have no problem once it recovers if you’ve been caring for hoyas, pothos, and tradescantia without issues :-)
