Hi! I just got my first monstera, and sheâs started to have these brown dry spots that are yellow around them. Also the newest leaf looked like the tip dried up and crumbled off :( what am I doing wrong?

These spots were on my A Polly. I took the affected leaves to a local plant shop that assists with diagnosis and treatment of issues, and found out it has copper fungus. The good news is, you can get copper fungicide to treat it. Iâm not 100% sure itâs the same as what youâre dealing with, but the spots look similar, so I wanted to let you know itâs a possibility. Also, Iâve learned that if you treat a plant for copper fungus and it doesnât have it, it doesnât hurt the plant to treat it, it can act as a preventative. Good luck!

The last photo just looks like normal scarring from being damaged. The tip of the new leaf may have been damaged before you got it, or if you had it in direct sunlight it could have been scorched
