I just got my first Monstera!!! I had it in a sunny corner in my apartment, but it was directly in the wind of our A/C. I moved it because the leaves started turning yellow on the edges. Is this from the cold air or something else??

Have you fed or fertilized it at all? Yellow/brown tips on older leaves usually (not always) denotes a nitrogen deficiency

I fertilize my larger monsteras every 10-14 days or so. Could be time for more

Should I cut the super yellow leaf?

It wouldn’t hurt to do so.

Wait mine has this issue too, is it possible it’s due to fungus, does anyone know? the underside of mine has little brown spots, does yours too?

A solution to eliminating fungus as a possible factor causing the browning would be to immediately repot your monstera. If it’s the oldest leaves on the plant that are brown, and your watering is regular when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry, it’s likely a nutrient issue. Also make sure that your pot has drainage and water isn’t sitting in the soil. They like to be moist but not sopping wet.

Repotting was my next thought - the current situation is a nursery pot with drainage, the soil is chunky and it definitely doesn’t sit in water so underwatering was also my concern but I don’t use fertilizer so, I’ll repot, water with fertilizer, and see how it goes! Do you think it’s worth spraying a fungicide just in case?

I rarely use any pesticide or fungicide on mine. They’re resilient, especially the deliciosa variety. Just a good 6-4-4 liquid fertilizer every 2-3 waterings should do the trick. If you’re repotting into soil with fertilizer like a fox farms soil then wait a couple weeks before feeding so you don’t introduce a toxicity to the plant! Happy growing

Also could be type of water, we have very “hard” water so sometimes I’ll water with distilled if I notice this
