New to Planta, and plants haha! My friend gave me this when she moved about 6 months ago and I’ve brought her back to life but I’m wondering in terms of lighting if I should move her closer to a window or if she’s okay farther from the window? Also should I put something to stabilize her? Some of the heavier branches are putting weight on the smaller leaves! Thanks in advance!
I would say yes give her some support. Moss poles are popular, but imo they’re just a trend. A garden stakes and some plant Velcro will hold her up just fine. Just attach one or two big leaves to the stake and make sure it’s deep enough in the soil to fully support it. As in light she would probably like a little more, the lack of fenestrations on each leaf is an indicator that it is lacking a little light. Move her either closer to the window or right into a north, east, or west facing window. Mine is in a north facing window and is loving it. Constant fenestrations. Overall, she does look very happy and healthy! Great job!
