Hi all! thank you in advance for your help! I won this beautiful Thai through a raffle and my local plant shop. I love it. The owner wasn’t there I picked him up but the workers told me to wait to repot it for a while. I am getting a feeling that time has come but I am unsure. In the attached photo the top of a root is beginning to show out of the soil. My gut says it’s time to repot, but I’m looking for advice. I can see some of the roots when I lift it up and look through the drainage holes, but they aren’t coming out of the bottom. Any sage advice would be much appreciated! â˜ș

    Monsteras love a snug pot if you really feel that it is time for a new pot only size up about two inches at a time. Make sure that the roots are already snug in the pot you are switching out of first before making that move

    Roots coming out of the soil is very normal for monsteras, looks like an aerial root. Are there roots coming out of the bottom?

      Thank you for your help! No roots are coming out of the plastic pot but I can see them through the drainage holes and they are pretty large
