Help! I’m new to this and although I have been reading and following all the instructions, I think I’m about to kill another plant 😭😭😭 This pot has drainage, if this helps.

What makes you think you are about to kill another plant? It looks really healthy from the picture. Is there any new growth at the stems? How much light does it get? What’s is the soil feel like to the touch? The brown spots on the old leads are of minimal concern unless the persist on new leaves. There are lots of questions to ask before assuming your killing the plant 🤣. Hope that helps.

Agreed! It looks like those leaves could have gotten too much sun? Or it could be something else. But I see a new leaf that looks good, so that’s a good sign! You may just have to end up trimming these damaged ones off and like he said above, watch how the other leaves do. Think happy thoughts for this buddy! 🌿

My monstera gets this on its old leaves, they’ve never caused an issue for me as long as the new ones are all green. (Just my personal experience, I might be wrong)

Could be sunburn, could be water spot damage if these leaves are frequently getting wet from something like water dripping off the roof, or getting hit while watering. Genuinely, the upper leaves all look great, and you’ve got a nice new leaf uncurling amongst the browned ones.
