Hi, Iā€™m new to plants and I just bought this beautiful monstera and was wondering what exactly I should do to make sure she lives her best life! Planning on getting a bigger pot of course but Iā€™m not entirely sure how to repotšŸ˜…šŸŖ“

    Hi! Iā€™ve had my monstera for 3 years now and have propagated him multiple times! I would start by finding a good location for your plant. It should be somewhere near a window or skylight so he can receive indirect light throughout the day. If you havenā€™t already, put him on this planta app and get him on a watering schedule. He looks pretty big and developed, so he might need to be repotted soon! Another thing Iā€™ve discovered is good for my monstera delisiosa is some sort of support for it because of how big and heavy they get. A moss pole will probably be too small for this plant, but a trellis might fit better! Hope this helps!

    hi! i just got my first monstera a while ago too, iā€™ve found that itā€™s helpful to mist the leaves frequently if itā€™s kept inside, (gives extra humidity and also keeps leaves shiny!). they donā€™t like direct sun, i have mine next to a north facing window with the curtains closed at night and heā€™s doing just fine. theyā€™re tropical plants so they donā€™t like dry air which is why the misting is important inside. hope this helps :)
