Hey everyone!! So I just got this Monstera a few weeks ago (his name is Deli!). Does he need to be put into a bigger pot already? Today when I was doing progress photo updates, I saw that it looks like he has roots coming out of the top of the soil, but not the bottom of the pot. Thanks!

That’s an aerial root coming from the stem. It’s probably coming out because it is probably in need of support. It could need a new home depending on how root bound it is.

it looks like the plant is a little too high in the pot (i see some soil roots exposed) if there is enough room on top you can try adding a layer of soil, otherwise it seems like you’ll have to repot
