Why are the bottom little leaves of my monsters turning yellow??? This is like the third one…

    very possible they’re just old leaves. there could also be an issue with the watering. when do you water it?

      I watered it like a week and a half ago and it’s still moist

      it does sound like it might be overwatered. you could try the tampon hack, or pull the rootball out and wrap it in a towel to absorb excess moisture. if it’s really severe you could always repot in a fresh chunky and loose (aerated) soil mix. if you choose not to repot i would just keep an eye on it for a while and see if it recovers or declines (in which case, definitely repot and trim the roots if any are rotten or dead)

      i’ve heard of people using them to pull excess water from the soil, since they are so absorbent and the applicator allows you to just stick it in the soil easily
