Hello. I know i have been posting a lot recently about the health off my plants but I have another problem; My Swiss cheese plant is yellowing and it has brown areas. As you can see in the photos, it has some leaves with crispy brown edges and some with soft brown spots. The soft spots are newer - I just noticed them today. I looked up what might be causing the yellowing but it was very vague. I recently watered it so the soil is still a little damp on the top. It is about ten feet from an east facing window that has sheer curtains. The temperature is usually kept to 75. Please help!

The crispy leaves can be indication of not enough humidity. Do you have a humidity reader? Monsteras like bright indirect sunlight, 10 feet away with sheer curtains sounds like it’s too far away and isn’t getting enough sun. When is the last time you fertilized it?

I fertilized it around two weeks ago. I can move it next to a window that is a little more than a foot to the right from it if that would be better. Unfortunately I don’t have a humidity reader but I can buy one.

Be careful planta doesn’t have you overwatering it. In my experience, soft spots indicate overwatering. I routinely skip watering this plant because they have me watering it too frequently.

The yellowing happened to me too. It needed more light. So glad to see you moved it.
