      I've seen others with one, is it to hold up the main plant stem? thank you!

      It’s to hold the vine (what you’re referring to as the main stem ☺️) when the plant feels supported with something to climb it will push out larger leaves ☺️

    Also make sure it’s in fast draining soil, the soil dries out between watering, and it get a lot of indirect light ☺️

    Mine has a tall wood piece about 3 inches wide and tie my stems to my pole to keep the leaves up and not to fall to the ground and just hang as they tend to do as they age.
