I’ve just bought a grow light for my monstera. Does this positioning look okay? Will the light get to all of the leaves? The cable won’t stretch any further, but I could get an extension.

SarahJayI don’t have any experience with grow lights, but I know that monsteras like their leaves to be facing the Sun. Not sure if that is the same for a grow light or not?

I figured that it would stretch its leaves towards the light source a bit, as it’s currently leaning towards the window. So hopefully grow up instead of out.

That’s an interesting technique! You’ll have to let me know if that works! lol btw, do grow lights make the energy bill go up a lot? I’ve dragged my feet on getting one but I’m starting to consider it more.

LeafmealoneI use one that has a floor stand and 4 bendable arms for my monstera. Around $30 on amazon

I saw some like that but I wanted to be a bit more subtle 😂 But if the plant needs more light, it needs more light!

I hear you! Now I have this big stand light in front of a bunch of plants in one room. I got use to it and look right past it but people that come over ask what the hell is that? lol
