Looks like sunburn to me! Does it get intense direct light ?

      It doesn’t. That’s what’s weird. 😩

Hmm maybe wash the leaves with dish soap and a rag? Or take a look at the roots and check for damage/rot

I didn’t know plants could get sunburn. My plants get loads of direct sunlight so should I move them to prevent dying?

Only if they are showing signs of sunburn like brown spots or discoloration!

I had a similar issue with my monstera a few months back. My monstera had two issues: its pot was too small and the air wasn’t humid enough. I think the spots were caused by dry air but I can’t be certain. Now I mist my monstera and it hasn’t had those spots since :)

I mist mine, too. How often do you mist? My air is pretty moist according to my humidity gauge. 🥴

Every week day because I keep my monstera at work (otherwise my cat tries to eat it). I remember that I really struggled with those spots, but mine was definitely not caused by sunburn because it was over 12 feet away from my window. I’ve also moved it to a brighter location since then

Could be lack of humidity/ needs fertilizer/ fresh soil

I’m going to go ahead and give it some fresh soil when I check the roots! It’s definitely not lack of humidity.
