When I first purchased leca I was winging it. I had a alocasia in soil which wasnât doing so good so transferred it into leca and it started to do amazing. If you have a problem with overwatering or just want your plants to be a little more self sufficient I recommend leca! So these are some of the benefits I love while using leca - you can see the progress of roots - the roots are able to absorb the water from the leca lowering the risk of root root marking your plant more self sufficient - you can reuse the leca after properly sterilizing it Do keep in mind only certain plants can survive & make progress in leca so far Iâve used leca for my monsteras, pothos, & Alocasia
