My Plant Cubby

My newest leaf (and now my biggest leaf in the back) barely has any fenestrations but the others do? I haven’t moved it; have been fertilizing it once a month with a good fertilizer, water it once it’s 3/4 dry. I literally take care of her more than myself and have had good progress. But this new leaf is making me question my plant parenting skills because I thought the bigger it gets, the more fenestrations it’ll get. Help 😭

That is a beautiful monstera! I recently asked about fenestrations on here and was advised that lack of light can be the issue.

Thank you so much! it’s facing a southwest window with almost floor to ceiling windows. I would be in utter shock if it’s because it doesn’t get enough light. 😭

Okay, maybe not light, then! 😂

Even though you think it’s enough, I would try adding a grow light maybe?

The closer it gets to the window the more fenestrations it will get
