WORSE THAN I IMAGINED! They’re healthy, but so tightly wrapped I don’t know what to do, any monstera experts have any root knowledge for me?!!

Unfortunately all I can tell you is good luck. I have 7 monsteras and have dealt with this quite frequently. You just have to have patience and keep trying. I would also say get a small chopstick and use it to break up the soil. And be prepared to lose roots, it’s okay, the plant has more than enough of them.

Thank you!! I really appreciate it, and 7 Monsteras that’s awesome! Any particular reason my leaves are droopy or is that typical for a rescue plant for the first few days? And are fenestrations developed after the leaf or is it grown with the fenestration itself?🥺 I’m a total newbie

Yes they usually are pretty droopy when you rescue them and also when you repot them. Fenestrations develop as the leaf matures! You got this!!
いいね 1件keep in mind losing some roots will just stimulate more growth and i think a rootbound repot is ok. just move it to a bigger pot with soil and it should grow into it- no need to untangle!
