My friend gave me some cuttings of her monstera. I just planted them after they'd been in water. One lead is turning yellow. Help?! I have never had one and don't want to loose it

Dang it! I have a hard time with that transition from water to soil too. Some plants don't make a peep and others decide to be drama queens. My daughter swears by rooting powder. You get it at the garden store or I'm sure Amazon has it. You can dip the roots in the powder before planting in soil. Supposed to help the roots take easier. She got me into plants a few years ago and is an actual encyclopedia of plant knowledge so I know I can trust her. It may be that the leaf wasn't very healthy to begin with and the shock was just too much for it. Once a leaf turns yellow it can't photosynthesize any longer so it's pretty much dead at that point. You can't make it green again. 😭😭

Thank you sm! Should I just cut it?

I would cut it so it’s not stealing nutrients ☺️
