Can monsteras live outside during the summer in Massachusetts? If so, should they get partial shade? It gets pretty humid here and I have central A/C so I’m thinking outside might be better, but I literally just got my first monstera today, so I’m completely new to this!

I’m gonna say yes. Mine’s in Colorado, with mostly shade. I bring it in at night if gets under 60 degrees though. Anything that’s not full Sun would be fine in my opinion

I just got my first monstera recently. I’m in the Midwest and I have mine on an east facing covered front porch and it seems to be doing well so far.

My dad lives in Oregon. His goes outside for sun. They have mostly overcast weather. You just don’t want to leave it outside in the direct sun too long. Otherwise it can burn.

I am in New York, and I put my Monstera on my balcony in May(shaded area, no direct sunlight hitting the plant) and she has been flourishing
