    Aerial roots, they are normal and I leave mine. I’ve seen people say you can cut them for aesthetics.

      I’ve also heard you can place the roots in water, it helps the plant grow more leaves!

      this is false… usually it ends up rotting in my experience

      In a natural environment, the aerial roots are what the plant uses to climb, so they are meant to be in the air ☺️

    they are healthy!! you can actually stick them back in the soil and they’ll make the new leaves come in bigger! aerial roots are there to take nutrients to the top leaves because it’s faster and easier than going through the stem
