My MonsterD is new to my home and I’m uncertain if she should be repotted. There are a lot of visible roots at the surface and warped roots at the base of her pot. However, the midsection of the pot is not very full. She is currently putting out two new leaves. Should I wait until she’s more root bound? Should I rinse all the soil she originally came in off, repot with Aroid mix and put her back into the same 1.79 gal pot? Should I remover her without disturbing soil and roots and put in a bigger pot with Aroid mix?

What about the exposed roots at the top? There not arial roots… and they’re drying out/crisping up. I can’t add soil to her because she’s already at the top rim.

I, personally, would add a shallow layer of soil on top of those roots.

If thats mold on top id definitely repot even if its in same size pot. Also if you want to leave it treat the top soil with 1:3 perxoide:water and spray on top
