My monstera has no leaf fenestration yet. 😫 I started this plant as a cutting, but it has been potted for about a year. Should I water more? More sun? Any ideas?

May also need a bigger pot. Fertilizer.

not a bigger pot, monsteras need to be tightly potted. they like being rootbound

Mine loves its big pot. Would grow faster in a bigger one. Anytime it would stop producing I would check to see if it out grew it’s home. It’s spread even more in its new home. They don’t necessarily need it. They need room to grow.

Make sure you give it a pole to climb ☺️ when they feel supported they will put out larger leaves! Good luck!
2 likesThe chances of you getting fenestrations from a cutting are higher if the original leaf is already split. Unsplit leaves will let out the same kind until it forms larger. I'd say higher humidity will help
