I want to add something for my Monty to climb, but I’ve read different things online. I thought a moss pole but read they could attract pests? What do you all recommend? She seems full I’m afraid of hurting plant by putting something in pot. Would I have to replant her?

    You don’t have to use a moss pole. Anything at all to attach limbs to to let her climb will work. A board, bamboo stakes, a trellis, or any combo of those will work. As long as you can tie her limbs to something for support.

    You can use any type of trellis. I bought moss poles for my Monstera and have not noticed any pests in the last 4 months.

    I think you might have more than one plant in that pot, not good in the long term it will overcrowd

      So do I have to take her out of pot ? This makes for a bushier plant, maybe it’s why the nurseries do that? I’ve never repotted. I got it like this from nursery. How will it impact later on? Would it just require a much bigger pot?

      Yeah some people leave them together you just end up with a bushier look

    I’ve got two plants in my Monstera pot and she is doing super well! Yes I have got it in a 32cm pot so it is quite hefty but works for me!! I would say 100% repot into a slightly bigger pot and add a moss pole at the same time! When they are supported they often grow bigger and happier leaves 🥰
