i’m new to Monsteras and do NOT want to kill mine. i’ve got a fairly green thumb so i trust myself but was wondering if there’s anything special they need. im looking into a grow light specifically for her, do you think she needs it?

    You should get a climbing pole for it! Mine started climbing and wrapping around it when I got one.

    Usually monsteras have holes in their leaves, to let the bottom leaves get more sun, but I see that some of yours don’t. I’m not sure if that’s bad, but I think it’s not an issue. When the leaves start to get droopy, get a moss pole for it to climb.

    It depends, what direction is that window behind it? It seems like it will get plenty of light from that. You may need supplemental light in the winter, depending on how frequently you have cloudy skies.

    This plant LOVES high humidity. I have only 1 vine on mine (via propagation) and the leaves are really big, with fenestrations! I keep it under the shade on my balcony.

    If you have a shaded porch or balcony, it'll thrive there! I highly recommend owning a moisture meter to avoid over/underwatering it
