I canā€™t figure out why my Monkey mask has browning spots. It has multiple new growth and is overall pretty healthy. Iā€™m a new plant mom so I just want to make sure Iā€™m taking care of it right

    Iā€™m new to plants too. I mean, Iā€™ve kept many alive for the past 5 years but new to actually learning how to take care of them lol. Have you checked for pests? You could spray it down with a fungicide in case itā€™s a bacteria hurting your leaves. When was the last time you watered it? Is the soil dry half way down?

    My monkey mask is doing this too! Iā€™ve had some leave turn yellow and die ā˜¹ļø. I just repotted it because I think it had a drainage issue. Does your pot have good drainage?

    It may not be getting enough humidity

    Yeah it does have good drainage. Iā€™m thinking the brown spots are because Iā€™m not misting it and the house isnā€™t very humid. The leaves never been yellow. I donā€™t think itā€™s fungus or bacteria because my other plants are fine. Iā€™m gonna try increasing the humidity and see if that helps.
