3 months ago I preordered a Monstera Thai Con and I couldnāt be more excited to say that what seemed like forever and a day spent waiting for my baby to arrive is finally over!!!! ššš and just look at how adorable it is š¬ With that being saidā¦ Iām still super nervous that Iām going to unalive her somehow. So, if you have any tips or pointers, please send them my way!!
I ordered monstera three years ago, after while I repotted in a bigger pot. Was growing so well. But just while ago I saw all the leaves turning yellow with the brown tips. I just found out that I grown too much that it has no soil left to absorb the water. So, just be careful and keep an eye on that. Good luckā¤ļø

Let the soil dry out almost completely, it helps to get a moisture meter to be 100% sure when it needs water (esp with the pricey plants) thatās usually the main issue people have, the rest is easy. Mist occasionally, fertilize every other watering, etc. you got this!!

I literally just brought my first one home today. Did some research. A few YouTube videos I watched suggest leca/ponā¦ or a chunky aroid mix. Sydney Plant Guy has a very big and beautiful one, and he even gives his aroid mix recipe out in a video. Thatās what Iāve been using on my other plants.
