What are your thoughts on using 50% miracle grow tropical mix and 50 % miracle grow cactus potting mix for my monstera?

    Seems like it would be corse enough. A few extra things would be good like worm castings or perlite

    i advise staying away from miracle gro

      their soil usually has tons of fungus gnat eggs and larvae also. i use coco coir, worm castings, and fine perlite as my potting soil base

    I know I’m a little late to the party but I was told once that miracle gro is like a quick steroid for plants and to stay away from the brand. That’s now etched into me and I try to use growth technology ltd soil and orchid bark, then if I can Westland for perlite and fertiliser. Haven’t had any problems so far (not wanting to jinx myself)
