Hey guys can anyone tell me how my monstera is doing? I’m thinking super well but just wanting to be sure? I also repotted her and gave her a better soil mix

Looks great as long as you didn’t smell any root rot (it usually stinks)
2 Me gustaSmelled like normal healthy dirt. I was using miracle gro succulent soil and recently just got perlite and a separate cactus and succulent soil that has sand and charcoal in it along with perlite! We shall see how they do! (I repotted some with a different soil mix as well) I’m just experimenting all over the place 😂
2 Me gustaRoots look great, I would be careful with the sand though- it holds too much water and can cause root rot on the monsteras. Chunky soil is always better and has done great with my monsteras
2 Me gustaWhat’s your soil mix? 😊
0 Me gustaI usually do a 1/3 perlite, 1/3 orchid bark, and a 1/3 regular potting mix or a Tropicals soil but I always add perlite/orchid bark. The chunkier the mixture the quicker the soil will dry out so just keep that in mind. My monstera is in a south facing window that gets good heat but not direct sunlight light which she seems to love.
2 Me gustaI just have to get orchid bark then! I keep seeing people using it for almost everything indoor plant related and I just gotta bite the bullet this week !
1 me gustaI use it in pretty much all of my plants and I just play around with how chunky I need the soil for the different plant types and it works so great
