For anyone thinking about using keiki paste on things that aren’t orchids: do it. This is a monstera Peru I picked up from Walmart almost a month ago. She was a little ugly and bald at the bottom so I slathered on some keiki paste and this is ~3 weeks later. Looks like a success to me!

You’re inspiring me! Gonna order. Are there any plants not to use this on?

Probably some it just doesn’t work on. I’ve used it on pothos and Hoyas with success too. I even put it on my pencil cactus but it didn’t do anything. It won’t harm them if it doesn’t work.

The only one I’ve heard NOT to use it on is jewel orchids. From what I understood of the reading, the jewel orchid over-reacts to the hormone and will divert too much energy to the growth point, causing the older parts of the plant to die, leaving the new growth unsupported In my experience, it works really well on vining or climbing node plants such as pothos and monstera! And can also be used on tree plants such as ficus

This is great to know! I was actually contemplating ordering a jewel orchid soon so thanks for the info there!

It’s only worked on pothos for me. One dab can activate multiple growth points on a single vine. No luck with scindapsus or ficus. Haven’t tried on monstera yet.
