Hello! Can anyone tell me if she's actually a monstera? (She was gifted to me) and maybe help me understand why shes struggling?

Looks like a young monstera. By the looks of it my suggestions would be new soil, something very airy. I use regular potting soil with lots of perlite and I like to add worm castings. Depending on the size of the root ball you might went to down size the pot for a while too. It shouldn’t be bigger than 2 inches up from the root ball size and make sure it has good drainage. A support stake for the main stem will help it mature faster and produce bigger leaves with higher chances to restate. I use coco coir poles that are bendy and plant Velcro but moss poles are fine also. They don’t climb on their own so you will have to strap it to the support enough to give it support but not so tight as to restrict the growth of the stem and future leaves. They also enjoy lots of indirect sunlight and medium to high humidity as they are tropical plants. Good luck!

I agree. Young monstera in a pot that’s too big and needs a chunky soil mix.
0 J'aimeMonestera. With zero fenestration's I'd say a main issue is lacking light.
0 J'aimeIt’s much too young to have fenestrations.
0 J'aimeIt doesn’t look old enough to have fenestrations, also the problem is dry they hate being dry so water it and keep it at consistent moistness, but never wet so let it dry a little bit between waterings.
