Finally got my first Monstera Deliciosa!!! I’m so excited, I just keep staring at her 🤩 I got her with 2 new leaves already coming in and I can’t wait to see them unfurl. Does anyone have any good tips or tricks to help them grow well? She’s in my bright indirect sunlight bedroom and by S/SW windows
You have at least 2 plants in there. If you want a full pot, you could leave them together, but if you want bigger leaves, you could separate them. Completely up to you; just wanted to let you know! Besides that - dust their leaves every once in a while, they like small pots and chunky soil (bark, perlite, coco chips, etc). Lots of indirect light They’re climbers so you could add a sphagnum pole if you want but they take some upkeep. The YouTuber Sydney Plant Guy is a great resource if you wanted to look into that
3 Me gusta Thank you for the information! If/when I repot, would it be okay to use a general potting mix and a healthy amount of perlite or should I look into also getting bark or the coco chips
1 me gusta Yes, that would be fine :) Half soil, half perlite would make the plant very happy
