I heard it’s best to train a monstera young, but I don’t know how exactly to do that? Does this pole work, and should I wait a bit for more growth? Looking for advice!!

Absolutely! Just make sure to maintain the pole moist so they lean toward it naturally and your garden ties need is minimal. Best of luck!

I suggest a true moss pole for the biggest leaves. If you fill a moss pole with sphagnum moss those aerial roots will grow right into the moss and absorb nutrients there AND gain lots of support for huge leaves. Having it tied to a coco pole like this IS beneficial and you’ve managed to make it looker cuter than I ever was able to with the same (exact aame i think) pole but I recently put mine on a true moss pole and the results were almost immediate! Can’t recommend it enough!

This is my newest leaf and it is HUGE. I’ve practically been sitting here watching it unfurl all day 🤪 👀

Sorry for a million comments but another reason I ditched that coco pole is that in addition to not really absorbing water the plant is going to grow FAST with the extra support and you’ll be wrestling with that bendy pole in no time

Thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely try that in the future! 😊
