just cut them off. it doesn't hurt the plant. if you don't plan on giving it something to climb, just cut off the aerial roots
0 J'aimelooking closer, i think you put the pole on the wrong side of the plant LMAO. move the pole so that it's touching the side the aerial roots are coming from.
1 j'aimeOh okay, what can I give for the plant to climb ? 😅
1 j'aimeGotcha! Thank you
0 J'aimecoco coir pole will be just fine, though i'd be careful about it touching the soil, as coir tends to start rotting when it gets too wet.
0 J'aimeDIY moss pole with spag moss
0 J'aimeDo be careful, the aerial roots of monsteras can get in between the trim and the wall and start growing underneath your carpet looking for soil so if this happens or you notice it getting close to the edge, trim it before it gets into the trim otherwise you’re gonna have one hell of a problem
1 j'aimeThanks guyss
0 J'aimeYou can also tame it back into the soil
0 J'aimeAs they’re too long won’t that be a problem?
0 J'aimeYou can just lay them on top
0 J'aimeI love the roots! When did your monstera start to grow them?
0 J'aimeAround 2-3 months. I never thought it would grow or move a lot faster.
