I just got this new left but I hate how sloppy it looks. Any advice on how to get it to stay up a little better? Or does anyone know if this is a new node? I could also chop and prop:)

sometimes new leaves just take a minute to stand upright. make sure it’s getting good light. here’s a diagram that helps locate nodes — there’s usually an aerial root nearby, and it will be on the stem, not the leaf

You could just chop it off if you really hate it. People might scream 😱 but I have absolutely chopped leaves that were old/broken/drooping for aesthetic purposes. As long as you’re not cutting like crazy and the plant remains healthy, I haven’t seen an issue.

You can use a smoothie or boba straw as a support for that leaf. Slice into the whole length of the straw and wrap it around the droopy limbs..over time the plant will grow stronger and won’t need the support.

i’m guessing your plant isn’t getting enough light based on the pale coloration of the new stem. they’re typically pale but not so close to white. the way it is stretching is also an indicator of not enough light.
