They like to move towards the light I would suggest placing it on top of a plant stand and adding a taller moss pole or a wooden trellis (personal preference) it is what I have mine on .
3 J'aimeAppreciate the input. I agree, mine has outgrown the moss pole. Thanks.
2 J'aimeThat is normal, not leggy.
2 J'aimeThat's not leggy, just normal monstera growth. If light is on one side primarily...Turn your plants weekly so they don't lean
2 J'aimeOkay, thanks. Leggy must be reeeeeeaaaaallllly long stems haha.
1 j'aimeLeggy refers to Etiolation, which is an over lengthening, to the point of being sickly. I.e. the plants needs are not being met. Usually with a discoloration, light color that indicates a lack of sun and chlorophyll. Or very long internodal sections. This is a succulent. But same idea. Something that's supposed to be bushy or compact.
1 j'aimeI see. Thanks for the info!
0 J'aimeMonstera are a vining plant, so perhaps another Moss pole, which was taller would help them stay on the up and up. But I do think raising it up closer to the window and perhaps rotating it every few days would help it get back into a non-leaning shape.
