Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me, is this too much of a grab on the stem holding it to my stake? It's really starting to lean forward without that. The second picture is what's happening without tying it up. Thank you in advance 😊
it looks like you've attached the petiole, not the stem, which is not ideal. it's not necessarily harmful but it can become a huge pain in the future, as it restricts further stem growth. it's okay for them to lean a little.

Personally, I always make it a habit to only wrap around internodes because you risk damaging new growth anywhere else. 😅
