Hi everyone! Any ideas why my new leaf with fenestrations is so pale and limp? It has been this way for a couple of weeks but does not appear to be dying otherwise, it’s just very light (pictured next to another new leaf on the left).

I'm pretty sure all white leaves do not last because they cannot photosynthesize.

Unless it’s some kind of variegated monstera I don’t think it’s supposed to be that pale and limp. There’ve been a few other posts this week about pale monstera leaves and commenters have talked about not enough light. I don’t know if that’s what is going with yours, but maybe? It could also be reacting to a change in water frequency or something nefarious going on in the roots. A quick google search found abnormally pale leaves could also be due to nutrient deficiencies.

It is getting indirect light from a south facing window so I would hope that is enough light. Could be some kind of nutrient deficiency… it is weird it has so many new leaves that are doing well but on the two occasions that the new leaf had fenestrations it was like this
