just bought this long trailing monstera dubia for $45 😍. looks a little rough but hopefully i can restore some of it leaves and get more growth out of it !

    i would cut that whoooole thing (everything beyond the plank) off and start fresh 😅 she’s been missing the light ☀️ these are actually “shingling” plants not vining — meaning they grow up and pretty flat against a surface — your walls, this plank. to thrive this will want to grow straight up something flat

      I have the same issue going on with mine. The leaves being so small and spaced far out means not enough light?

      yes! small leaves and long internodal spacing indicates not enough light. and these really want to “shingle” snip away the leggy stuff and get it brighter light 😎☀️
