i got this thai monstera a month ago and it’s a lovely been declining.. black spots appear and i lost one of the leaves this morning. I just reported it into this 4” pot yesterday. help!

AshHey, I think it needs better drainage. Add perlite and bark to the soil. It needs to be a chunky soil mix.

should i use some orchid mix?

TellieYou can. Mines in indoor potting mix perlite and orchid bark.

I agree, improve your soil drainage. You also might need to downsize. You only want to be 1-2” larger than the root ball.

Nic Van DCheck the roots. If there’s a lot of rot you may need to restart it in water. If there are still healthy roots I agree with the other suggestions to repot in a chunky mix. I use Molly’s.
