saw this listing for $30. the white part of the leaves have browned but the variegation on the nodes look good… is it worth it?

If the roots were good I might. But I have plant buying problems 😆 🤣

1 likeI really want them to unearth the roots for you 😆 🤣 it looks like there is 2 nodes on it. That top one looks pretty callused, I'm wondering how long ago it was cut. If the 2 nodes are like a 'mid cutting' (the cut both nodes off the explant) it sometimes will take awhile for them to sprout new growth. And if it is, you may just want to find an albo starter plant, it'd run about the same price online
1 likeohh understood. I was able to get this picture of the roots from them (I think it’s an aerial root?). It’s labeled as a “mid cut well rooted” plant. The leaves it has are BIG too (the white has browned naturally which I’m sure I can fix with my 10W grow light). I’m thinking since the leaves are so big and the green is healthy and speckled nice, I can just fix the brown and she’ll be a good plant (hopefully) 😂 🙏 Thank you so much for all your help btw, a bit nervous - this is my first purchase of a “rare” plant - so the advice is definitely nerves calm haha! (The app cropped the image a bit so I would click on the picture to see the full image… oops!)
1 likeOohhhh i was thinking it was just these two nodes!!! Buy that up!!!! 😆 🤣 it definitely needs silica, I'd say. My albo and constellation, both got browning when I put up a growlight over them.
1 likeIf you do, give that poor baby some silica
1 likestill debating but if I do end up getting her, I will!
