So Iâve been deeply neglecting my moss pole maintenance recently and finally got around to extending these and also making a support stand to stop them from falling over every time I open the door and also have them on a height to prevent my stealing the LECA and chewing on it (he loves the crunch). Also one of the pothos vibes is just hanging loose now, I wonât bother trying to attach it back to the moss pole.
My philodendron has sustained so much mechanical damage to the leaves from falling over and getting caught in the door, poor thing.
Iâm planning to add some more grow lights so that each plant has their own, just need to find some more nice driftwood. Iâm hoping to train the philodendronâs leaves to face back into the house this way rather than facing out towards the sun. We shall see!
This support is solid and itâs hard to see in the photo but the poles are also secured to hanging bars so thereâs no risk of toppling. Yay for plant chore success!
Please ignore the cabinet situation, itâs still a WIP as Iâm waiting for a drill bit to arrives so I can finish putting it together.

Iâve had plants for a long time but when my daughter went on a trip and I had to plant sit (her 60 plants in my house) and once my mom passed and I got all her plants from her nursing home room I had to step it up. Now Iâve acquired a lot more since my daughter moved and took her beauties with her. I had to fill the space somehow. Most of them are in my dining room and are tropical.
I have cherry furniture and I am really worried about putting a mister in the room for fear of damaging the solid cherry furniture. Can anyone allay my fears about this?

My parents were getting rid of this table, and I originally planned on putting on my lanai. It's too big for out there, so I put it in this corner. I ordered a floor lamp and grow bulbs which will arrive tomorrow. I plant on putting the lamp in that corner as I dont get enough light there. A huge tree in the yard and the covered lanai shade that side of my house. I rearranged plants on that table. Of course, I have more room for plants and photos.
UPDATE: Photo on the right added to show I placed two plants around the table. One was on the table, but I like him where he originally was in that plant stand. The plant on the left are new..got from HD last week and still need to pot. I plant on putting him into that planter on thst plant stand. I will be adding another plant or two to the table...and might be adding more on the floor around the table.

Greetings! Can anyone help me? I have grow lights that are wonderful for my plants. But now with the cold weather coming the humidity is gone. I want to get a humidifier for my plants and I need to know how to set it up because I scared of any mist touching the lights. I donât want any lights to explode!

Looking for some plant ideas for the bottom 3 shelves. The window and Glass door across from it about 7 1/2 feet away and south facing. The windows behind the shelves are North facing but currently have trees/bushes that filter that light out and the windows to the right are under a bit shade tree and East facing. I already have a ZZ plant down in that lower area so just looking for some suggestions on other low light plants. That can go on those shelves.

Monty has reached the top of his trellis. Anyone have suggestions for sturdy and sleek trellises for inside that could get him 3+ ft? Iâve been eying moving him to his own corner but he needs to take up a bit more space first

Hereâs what I call âthe sunroomâ lol. In reality this would be the âdining roomâ but itâs just my dog, my plants and myself sooooo no use for a dining room lol and this room gets entirely too much sunlight for it to go to waste on a table and chairs I wonât sit at lol. This room needed plants, so itâs been a plant room for a couple months now lol. Anywho, behind me is the washer and dryer and two more windows just like the ones you see. The washer and dryer side get hammered with afternoon/evening sun which most plants donât like. So I finally flipped the plants to the other side in a more controlled sun environment. That side also gets sun but today is kinda gloomy. Peaks of sunshine. Looks like it wants to rain. Itâs 71 degrees and I have all the windows open and the grow light on for some âsunshineâ on the plants lol. Gonna head to the store later, get some soil ingredients as I need to repot a galaxy aralia and a croton today. I have a wide variety of plants for a newb plant guy lol does anyone have a good concoction for soil that I can use for most of my plants?

I am looking for plant recommendations for my front entry. This is as bright as this area gets. The front porch is covered. Looking for plants that could survive here. I had my snake plant here but moved it over to the decorative fireplace closer to a window and itâs doing much better. I also got some new shelving for even more plants. Iâm just waiting on the grow lights to come lol. Im addicted to plants now haha

I have a peace lily that is giving me a lot of trouble. I have cut off all yellowing and browning leaves, and have completely repotted it, and it still continues to die. Not sure what to do for it?
