Finally upgraded my old plant stand to this one and wow đ
Just love waking up to these beauties đ„°đ„°
Hi everyone - Duffy has lived in the kitchen for a year now and went from starting with only 2-3 leaves per stalk. Heâs flourishing with the light from the windows, BUT (1) heâs getting too big for that spot and gets bumped by the kids and (2) my Janet Craig in the foyer has gotten leggy and I think heâs look nice there while I move her to the livingroom. He gots a lot more direct light in the kitchen than the foyer gets. Pics are from this morning where it is overcast and raining so not representative of the light in either place on a good day. Will he struggle if I move him because itâs more indirect light than heâs used to? Or, how can I gradually introduce him to the space so he can acclimate?
I really love these acrylic shelves!
Love re working the set up on my plants
such a nice view after a long day
Oh wow! So many inspiring photos. Iâm just beginning and trying to go slowly but I donât know how thatâs going to work. I did an inventory of available spaces for plants, by pot size and location, and determined how many plants I can get! Iâm feeling pretty excited!
Wanted to show my plant setups. Main one is the dining room. Then I have a lighted corner unit in the living room. Window seat in master bedroom. And last is the tub shelf in the master bath. They give me peace and relaxation most of the time. Just wanted to show them off a little.
Question⊠I have two grow lights because itâs pretty dim in here on overcast days. But should I be shutting them off on sunny days? Or is doubling up on light ok?
Updates on sunroom âïž
the new set up! amidst apartment re-decorating and Iâm just so excited about this new plant/trinket/book stand. there are grow lights too, just havenât hooked them up yet! the room is small and has 2 windows â one south-facing, one west-facing. hopefully the plants love itđż
Got motivated 2 months ago to do something with my mudroom/entrance way so I found a home for all the plants and friends instantly gave me so many more to propagate! It now has become my sanctuary! The baby loves this room too now so Iâm âgrowingâ a little plant lover too!
Working on revamping my sunroom.. stay tuned!
Set up at work!
Been slowly decorating up and rearranging the plants in my living room, the ivy has grown so beautifully. I want to web it out over the walls but it seems like it would be a pain in the a** if I ever needed to take it down so for now itâs just sort of sprawled out over things. Any ideas for how I can use the trellis? I was originally going to put the ivy there but Iâm not sure if itâll look how I thought it would.
Iâm not sure what the white thingy was supposed to be, I found it at the thrift shop and it works perfect for my vision! 2-inch pots. So cute!
Plant corner got an upgrade and some reorganization today because my snake plant decided to fall over lol. Now theyâre out of their corner and so happy!

14 foot high bright space! Any ideas? I would love to take advantage of this light filled space but it is high up and narrow. I might be able to water things from a balcony but itâs still a bit far. I guess I can have the pots lower and let things grow up towards it but I donât know how long that would take or if it Iâd like the look of it. Maybe a good sturdy shelf at a comfortable height from a step ladder.
