I need plant advice so if anyone can check out my plant profile and give me advice I know my monsters need support. I don’t know what’s up with my fern though maybe a bigger pot?

    The fern looks like it's dehydrated and needs humidity

      Soil is still wet from last watering and I do mist the leaves in between but maybe she needs more

    Misting doesn’t tend to be that helpful for plants, unfortunately. Idk why the app adds prompts to do so. If you’ve got a room humidifier, placing it closer to one of those would probably help it out a lot more. Ferns can be very finicky, even with the most experienced houseplant owners, so please don’t think you’re the only one having a hard time with one. You might get more feedback about your fern or monstera if you make a post about them in the “anything about plants” or “pests, diseases, or problems” groups. Hope this helps!

      Btw, just wanted to let you know that I scrolled through the plants in your collection and the one you have identified as a croton is a ficus elastica schrijveriana. Just thought I’d let you know, cause they’ve got some differences in their care needs. I can give you some care tips for the ficus if you need any help with it atm.

      I used the plant identifier. I was told about it before when I made a post about it and they all said it was not a croton. I don’t know if there is a way to change it or if I have to delete the plant and reenter at the correct one

      You can change it if you enter the plant’s settings with the little gear shaped icon in the top right corner when you click on the plant you currently have identified as a croton.

      Scroll down the edit plant settings area it should take you to from clicking the gear icon until you see the spot that says “Plant”, then tap where it says “Plant type” and it’ll open up into a search box where you can change the type of plant it is.

      This is what should come up. Then you type “ficus elastica schrijveriana” into it and click on it when it comes up.
