So I’ve been deeply neglecting my moss pole maintenance recently and finally got around to extending these and also making a support stand to stop them from falling over every time I open the door and also have them on a height to prevent my stealing the LECA and chewing on it (he loves the crunch). Also one of the pothos vibes is just hanging loose now, I won’t bother trying to attach it back to the moss pole. My philodendron has sustained so much mechanical damage to the leaves from falling over and getting caught in the door, poor thing. I’m planning to add some more grow lights so that each plant has their own, just need to find some more nice driftwood. I’m hoping to train the philodendron’s leaves to face back into the house this way rather than facing out towards the sun. We shall see! This support is solid and it’s hard to see in the photo but the poles are also secured to hanging bars so there’s no risk of toppling. Yay for plant chore success! Please ignore the cabinet situation, it’s still a WIP as I’m waiting for a drill bit to arrives so I can finish putting it together.
