This is literally the brightest room in my house. It is an East facing room. I am thinking about adding more plants…Should I add grow lights?

    I notice a few options. 1). The light fixture above could be used with a spotlight and flexible bulb fixture to make certain that you have the best °K or, warm to cool, aka 5,000° K is very close to noon time sun. 2). If only east facing, it may not receive the 6+ hours that constitutes “full sun”. So, the above example will fix that. 3). Just to make sure that your plants and the light sync, you can check the light level with one of many apps. Lastly, if you find that after all that you have “partial” sun, and the plants you want to move there doesn’t do well— move it to a darker area. Good luck and grow on!! :)

    Yes. I moved into a small apartment that only has two window windows. I rotate my plants to spots in front of the windows because they absolutely prefer the natural light but certain plants are thriving just under the grow lights, but they also get their chance at the window.

    Isn’t that interesting that some plants absolutely prefer grow lights to sun? I have used dozens of brands, wattages etc. of bulbs and find that one has been preferred by the plants nearly every time I try to grow them. Congratulations on your setup! Looking good!!
