Can anyone give me recommendations for a tripod grow light that's affordable and good quality?? Lol Also, plenty of room for recommendations for any type of grow light setups as well. :) Bulbs included! Thank you!!

    You could get the pianta and then go to a hardware shop with electrical and get a clamp plug in super cheap, then a smart socket if you wanted to keep it on a routine

      I'll look into that. I have a corner stand with shelves with most of my plants on them. Just trying to get something that's going to hit all of them at once without all of the cords.

    Soltech is my favorite brand if you can afford it (I can’t lol) but they’re SO expensive. My second favorite brand is Barrina which is much more reasonably priced and is on Amazon.

      I bought some sansi bulbs before checking my app again. Hoping their good, but no one's recommended them yet. 😅

    My favourite bulbs are the Pianta (brand is Grow Gang). If you’re in the UK you have access to all their fabulous accessories too. Otherwise, you can buy the bulbs on Amazon. They have just start selling the short gooseneck bulb holders/clamps in my region as well and they’re excellent quality - all metal and very tight clamps so they can easily attach to shelves and not flop like the cheap ones you find on Amazon or eBay. Most of my bulbs are in floor and desk lamps (appropriately rated for the bulbs they house in terms of wattage). Lamps are great as they blend into house decor :)

      I ordered Sansi brand bulbs for one set up. I bought a 2 pack for 36 bucks. They have 30% off their entire site. I have no idea if I got ripped off or if that was a deal lol. Do you know if that's a good brand or are they over hyped?

      They have a pretty good reputation in the plant community. I have one and feel neutral about it but only because it’s a little fugly and they’re generally much chunkier than bulbs like Pianta so if you’re trying to conceal it in a lampshade, you need a pretty large lampshade. From memory the Sansi instructions tell you not to use them with lampshades too. I think if you’re using the bulbs (rather than the little clip on lights which imo are a bit pointless), they should be just fine for your plants. Just make sure that the bulb wattage doesn’t exceed the wattage of whatever lamp or fixture you put them into.
