Has anyone made an ikea grow cabinet? I have a cabinet that currently just has shoes in it but I’d like to transform it into an area to grow tropical plants better. I’d like to know what I’d need such as grow lights fans etc :)

JosieI have the shorter milsbo ikea cabinet and while I do love it, a good portion of my plants don’t actually fit in it even though I removed all but one shelf from it. So the taller one would’ve been better. I did already have grow lights though so I’m not sure what brand they are as I didn’t purchase them myself. I was able to easily drill a hole in the bottom of the cabinet to run the cabling out of it and my plants stay pretty happy in it. I don’t have a humidifier inside of the cabinet but since it’s not airtight the humidifier still works for it and my humidity sensor shows it’s only off a small percentage from the outside environment of the cabinet. Overall it is really nice to have though.

Yea I thought to make better use of it, it’s a large one too probably about 6ft tall then 30cm x 30cm cube sized.
