    You can attach flat grow lights to the bottom of the top shelf :)

      Agreed! You can even use little ceiling screws to mount a flat strip on the ceiling

      Here because I have a similar setup I’m trying to light… Is that safe even if the lights kick out heat? I have some flat metal LED panels that get quite warm. It would be easy to stick them to the bottom of my wooden shelf, but wasn’t sure if that’d be a fire hazard?

    Is track lighting an option to install on the ceiling? I think that might give you the widest range of light. However, with something like that, being they would be a little further from the plants, you would need some good bulbs so the PFFD is still high enough when it reaches the plants. Sansi is a great company that is very reasonably priced. Soltech is expensive but an amazing light that travels far.
